Paddle Boarding

Stand-up Paddle Boarding (SUP) is an awesome experience that anyone can do.  Stand-up Paddle boards, are designed to paddle on flatwater as well as surfing waves.  The boards are stable and easy enough to balance, that anyone can do it.  The challange is maintaining balance and mastering the paddle strokes.  Getting the board cruising and going where you want it to, can come pretty easy, with a little practice.

Kayak Chicago has been teaching SUP and sharing the fun for 6 years.   Join us for a class, or just play on your own.  Our instructional classes will teach you the basics of balance, board control, paddle strokes and techniques.  Once you have mastered the balance, try taking it to the next level.  

Try SUPYoga or SUPPilates.

Challenge your balance and stamina while you workout on the boards.  The peace of floating on the water, sets the stage for intuned balance and flexibilty.

Why heat up in the studio, when you can get on the water and have an awesome experience!

Our instructors are boarders.  We have SUPing, surfing, snowboarding and skating in our blood.  

Whether you take private lessons, group classes or rent on your own, you will leave the joy of walking on water!

 Classes:

  Introduction to SUP

Let us teach you the basics of balance, board contol, paddle strokes and techniques.  Gain confidence and skills that will set the foundation for you to enjoy paddleboarding.  Saturdays and Sundays, 10am - noon

  SUPYoga

Our yoga instructor will get you comfortable on the board and show you how to balance, move and hold posses, while floating on the board.  Take your balance and posses to the next level, whether you are new to yoga and SUP or are skilled in both, you will enjoy the experience and keep coming back for more.  The tranquility of floating on water and the peacefulness of yoga are a great combination.  

  SUPPilates

 Our Pilates Instructors will coach you through the the workout, and keep you motivated to push through each excersize.  The mix of balance and movement will challenge you and push you to want more.  Whether you have the basics of pilates, or are a trying it for the first time, you will enjoy the water and an amazing work out.
