Introduction to Sea Kayaking
In this beginners class you will learn Types and parts of the kayak, Proper fit, paddle stroke techniques, wet exits ( how to exit the kayak in the event of a capsize) and assisted T-rescues and cowboy rescue.(how to get back in your kayak). This two hour class teaches you all the basics and is good for 1st time paddlers or seasoned paddlers who have never learned the necessary basics.

Intermediate Skills and Techniques
You will learn Braces ( capsize prevention), Draw strokes ( manuvering your boat side to side), theory of the hip snap (balance and body movement), Paddle Float rescue (self-rescue) and Bow rescue( partner assisted rescue).

Eskimo Rolling I
The Eskimo roll is a fun rescue that allows you to cool off and stay in your boat. Ding a roll is all in the technique. Part I is understanding the theory of the roll and breaking down each step into an individual technique. Learn each step and practice each technique.

Eskimo Rolling II
Once you understand and practice each technique, we will put them all together and execute the roll.
